Confetti, bubbles, and sparklers oh my!
It's 5 o clock in the morning,
Hey lets go exploring....

This morning at 4:20 we decided to blaze it and spend time with weed. Our day started before the sun even came up. We rose before the cloud-filled sky and set off on our first day adventure!

Gaby took Wilfred (her car) to pick Megan up, then Kendra, then Alycee. Shout out to Gaby and Wilfred for the transportation. Then we made our way to the secret field provided by Megan. To make sure no casualties occurred, we sacrificed Gaby to be the look out for snakes. No snakes were seen, so we decided to start the party!

Kendra's Experience:
With a nice overcast and comfortable temperature, the shoot was a breeze. We many props to work with and it was definitely a good time. Megan was the perfect model and it was hard to choose the best photos. The confetti brought a whimsical feel to the pictures, it felt like an actual party! Thanks for Megan for being up for anything like getting confetti stuck in your hair! Bubbles are personally my favorite, but they are extremely difficult to work with. The wind made the bubbles go every which way! Although, because the grass was still wet, the bubbles arranged themselves in a pathway which felt like a dream. Lastly, the sparklers illuminated the morning sky and set the scene off with a bang!
Earths laughs in flowers, and so does Megan. :)

Alycee's Experience:
Basically for this shoot I wanted a short film mood and tried to establish it with film like colors and intentional blurs. Megan fit this mold perfectly and the field made me feel like I was in a 1940s Noir film. Watching everyone run through the field and have fun made me remember why I photograph. To create an experience not only for the model but also for everyone involved in the shoot. These photos are some that I had always imagined taking and creating.

So here's an entrance into my world and the eye of a photographer.
