It's finals week my friends.
Yes, yes it is finals week and in the spirit of finals let's talk about a serious subject: depression.
It is winter after all and Seasonal affective disorder or SAD or Seasonal Depression is among us.
In honor of all of those who not only suffer from SAD but from Depression year round I decided to do a shoot inspired by the feelings of depression.
While suffering from depression one will often feel unmotivated and hopeless from those around them. In the winter time, SAD can make one feel sleepy and detached. Much like when an animal hibernates for the winter. In this shoot I tried my best to replicate the feelings of "SAD Hibernation" as I call it. I tried to capture these feelings of fatigue and withdrawal.
With conceptual shoots I try to keep my descriptions as short as possible and let the images speak for themselves. So please look upon these images and let them speak to you.
