It is officially 2017 and what better way to welcome in the new year than with a few self portraits?
I grabbed my beloved fake glasses, put on my amazing bell-sleeve sweater (embracing my inner librarian) and took my time on the other side of the camera.
If you haven't noticed, I really love taking self portraits. When I first started photography I shot strictly self portraits and nature. Taking self portraits works as a hudge confidence boast because once I look back and see all the good pictures of myself I'm like "ayyyy I actually look good in this!!".
Joke aside, I love getting in front of the camera because it allows me to try out different photo techniques before I use them during client sessions and helps me create new pose ideas as well.
Also if you look closely you can see my beautiful Crescent Moon Earrings from the local jewelry shop Sisters on Tate!
